This is a new 4 light, 4000 watt continuous variable adjustment quartz halogen lighting kit with boom for studio use. With a 1000Watt bulb, these lights have a large range of adjustment. A built in fan cools the bulb for efficient, safe operation, lengthening the life of the bulb. The overheat protection will work immediately if the temperature inside reaches temperatures greater than 200 degrees F, protecting the fuse, the bulb and the rest of the light's internal systems.

This series of lights is specially designed for digital cameras and digital video production. Perfect for lighting your green or blue screen for digital special effects. The softboxes diffuse the light, eliminating hot spots, creating a flattering soft light. This type of lighting works great for general portrait photography, product photography and interview or instructional video. Soft lighting illuminates the subject with a flattering wrap around light eliminating hard shadows and overpowering highlights. Your work will have a clarity of light that will accentuate your subject/scene or action.

For variety of light you can use the the reflector with or without the barndoor for more dramatic direct lighting effects or accent lighting. This direct or hard lighting in combination with the soft lighting created by the softboxes will give your work an extra dimension and depth. Your creativity is your only limit with these lights. You can get the kinds of hard/soft lighting that exists in the real world, or try Film Noir type dramatic lighting that will heighten the suspense of your shoot.

We have included in this kit a boom stand that can be used as a regular light stand, or, with the boom arm extended you now have a fantastic hair light, extra back lighting or accent lighting. Comes with a sandbag to be used as a counter weight. Just fill the sandbag with any kid of weighted material and you are set.

This light kit is compatible with all digital and D/V cameras.
