This 4 light
PBL continuous halogen video lighting kit works great for both still photography and digital videography. Powerful enough for even the most trying studio situations
and yet compact enough to take on location with very little effort. These
lights will plug into any standard grounded 120V outlet to provide the
right illumination for the job at hand.
THESE LIGHTS DO NOT HAVE AN INTERNAL FAN, which makes them
perfect for those that need a quiet set. This kit is
based around the three main PBL MXLIGHTS, each a dual lamp system emitting 1000 watts or
500 watts per lamp head, your choice- at your fingertips. If 1000watts is leaving your
scene over-exposed, just flick a switch and you turn off one of the lamps and
you are left with 500 watts.
Perfect for lighting your green or blue screen for digital special effects.
The three included softboxes on the three 1000 watt lights will diffuse the
light, eliminate hot spots, create a flattering soft light.
This type of lighting works great for general portrait photography, product
photography and interview or instructional video. Soft lighting
illuminates the subject with a flattering wrap around light eliminating hard
shadows and overpowering highlights. Your work will have a clarity of
light that will accentuate your subject/scene or action. Take off the
softbox and you get a hard light that casts hard shadows, great for cinematic
effects. Use the included barndoors to direct the light. Gel sheets
can be easily clipped on these barndoors to provide an extra dimension to
your work.
We've included in this kit one PBL MX6-CF, focusable
light head with barndoors to
direct the light and cut out light flare. This 650watt light becomes the perfect
utility light, accenting your subject with broad light or focused beam of light.
Clips on the barndoors allow gels to be easily adapted to this light for more
special effects. We've added a second 650 watt focusable light to round
out this kit. Again, because these lights are focusable, with a beam
spread from 22° to 65°, you can use it as an extra accent light or background
light. Versatility is the key with this light kit. |
