This is a new PBL professional quality single light continuous fluorescent softbox light kit for photography and video lighting. This lighting kit will work for simple product photos to portraiture and dv interviews or even a mini feature. These softboxes go together with a simple push in the center and will be ready for work in seconds.These softboxes will direct the soft light to where you need it, with or without the included front diffuser.
This single light kit comes with these new PBL 50 watt high output compact fluorescent lamps that produce 150 watts of useable light each. *About Fluorescent Lighting
Fluorescent lamps are more efficient than incandescent light bulbs because a greater proportion of the power used is converted into useable light rather than heat, allowing the fluorescent lamp to run cooler. Thus a fluorescent lamp requiring 50 watts of power, for instance, produces as much light as a 150 watt incandescent light bulb, but with up to 90% less heat.
