This is a new professional quality boom
stand. Compact, light-weight (weighs only 16lbs) and easy to set up,
just angle the legs out from the stand, extend it up and adjust the the
boom arm to the position of your choice. The boom allows you to light
your subject from the top. Perfect for a hair light to separate your
subject from the background and give depth to your images.
Large solid die cast locking collars ensure longer lasting performance
and straighter column extension of support stands. No rivets, only bolts
to hold the legs together. Non-slip rubber tips on legs of support stand
to prevent movement. This boom comes with a saddle-bag style
sandbag that can be used as a counterweight- just fill the sandbag with
any type of weighted material (sand, gravel, nuts and bolts).
